There is something called the Internet Adult Film Database, which someone mentioned on this site, bless them. However, it is not clear to me that the listings are complete or accurate. For Example, this torrent:

is for a Lee Marlin movie in which he has one scene, apparently. The torrent is one of several here also identified as His Little Brother, which in fact is the name of the downloaded file. IADF does not give both names. Incomplete.

What it says is that gay/bi movies appear differently from non-gay titles. Fine. It also claims to mark out compilations. In the case of Stryker, these allegedly include:

Best of Mike Henson 1990 Catalina
Directors' Best John Travis Catalina

Now, some people might believe easily that the "best of" videos include unreleased scenes not good enough to be included in commercially distributed videos. I am not one of those people.

In the case of the Davenport torrent, the description helpfully explains,

To me, that sounds for all the world like a selection largely chosen from existing Stryker videos, not new material.

Naturally, your garrulous correspondent has no trouble doubting his omincompetence and perfect understanding, so maybe IAFD means something by "compilation" that is not indicated– on the page cited-- the way someone (me) might expect.

Anyone who clarifies this will be doing a public service for at least one person. Specifically, is there any New content in any of these Stryker titles? Does each title include Any Stryker scenery not otherwise already included in other titles?

I have always understood 'Best of…' to mean just that. Someone's opinion of the best scenes of the named actor that have been in full movies - a not-so-subtle way of squeezing more money from old films.

As well as 'The Best of ...' movies you name Stryker has been in at least 15 compilations including stuff like Falcon's 40th Anniversary and Best of All: Matt Sterling. I have never seen a compilation which includes unseen or new footage. I don't know of any Stryker footage later than 2001 (except Tall Tails, where he has a cameo role).

And you would be better off using a more reliable Listing Site

Thank you, cannonmc. My thoughts exactly. Stryker has not done any new gay porn for years now. I'm sure that there are several more that have been listed the same way and most people know that they are incomplete and culled from the mainstream releases.

Yes, that is what "best of" means to me, too. Which is why I asked about the listings cited, which are not indicated as being compilations, though they obviously are– which then left open the possibility there was some new stuff in there.

Thanks to the pointer to gayeroticvideoindex.com, which I had seen and lost track of. Esp. useful for the news items on their landing page, I think. It does list Smack My Crack in 2006 (Tool Factory) and Bed Head in 2011 (All Worlds), both of which are clearly indicated as cameos. While there was a note somewhere that he had a Rentboy listing at some point, it seems as though he has completely retired, at least from m/m porn.

Intriguingly, the database says "Has appeared in a few European B-grade films." Unfortunately, IMDB.Com has never heard of a performer named Jeff Stryker. Or Chuck Peyton, for that matter. Any idea what movies these might be?
