Re-seeding…
-
I just wanted to throw this out I have received numerous requests for re-seeds in the past little while for torrents I was already seeding. I seed 100% of my downloaded torrents 100% of the time. There are torrents I have been seeding for a little over 2 months which is way longer than I have to in order to maintain a decent ratio I do this out of respect for other members and to be a nice guy. Though from now on if I am already seeding a torrent and I receive a re-seed request for that torrent I will simply turn the torrent off and may choose not to seed it further simply due to the disrespect of others. I do not need to be harassed to do something that I am already doing I mean this is only porn. If it takes you a week to download something LIVE WITH IT if you can't get it to download here go elsewhere or harass someone else. Those members who continue will simply be sent this message:
I was seeding this torrent at the time you requested it. I have since turned it off simply because I was already seeding it and I don't need 10 000 requests to do something I was already doing. Please note that if any of the torrents I am already seeding are requested to be re-seeded I will simply turn them off because I seed all of my torrents %100 of the time as a favor and out of respect for other members I don't need to be harassed to do something I am already doing %100 of the time. This is simply disrespectful…

You are not specifically being targeted when you receive those reseed requests jay230 :), members have no control over who gets the PM's as they are sent by the system to multiple users who've completed a given torrent.
Click the request reseed button and you will see "Request send successfully - ### PM's send!" (should be changed to "sent" adminisomeone)Also, if you seed 100% of your downloaded torrents 100% of the time at 6.08kB (according to your profile) it may take much much longer than a week for some members to complete the torrent if you're the only seeder, or you and some other seeder(s) do the same. Here is a nice thread on torrent management.
Those messages aren't meant to harass you, sorry that you feel that way, a 1-click solution is to use "(Delete System Messages)" from your inbox if you feel that you've received too many.

( I did search and check FAQ's before posting this and didn't find an answer)
Why am I getting reseed requests for torrents I haven't even looked at, much less downloaded? I even got several requests in a row from the same member over a few weeks? No big deal if it is some kind of glitch, I'll just delete the messages, but I am curious.
