Interstellar!

I watched it! Good movie.
Pleasantly surprised by Mathew.
Excellent soundtrack and a mild spoiler…
When you decide to go and watch it, take as many as paper tissues as possible. It is very emotional and sad movie, especially at the final scene. -
I watched this. Was mind-fcuked. :crazy2:

Christopher Nolan make anything mind fuck though…. But it's still a nice film and it's very dark and sad too

Loved it. It felt really different from the rest of Nolan's films in that it was much more sentimental and emotional than his usually cerebral films, and it was pretty refreshing since he did it very well; the recent interviews with Jonathan Nolan saying that the film was originally going to be directed by Steven Spielberg made so much sense, but I'm glad that Chris Nolan did it since it turned out as great as it did.
The cast was uniformly excellent, with not a single weak link. Matthew McConaughey was just amazing all throughout with that scene after the water planet being a huge stand out. Anne Hathaway did a great job as well; I loved how understated her plea to go to the other planet was, and her final scenes were tearjerkers. Jessica Chastain was great as the emotional centre of the film; her first appearance was really impactful, and so were her final scenes.
Hans Zimmer's soundtrack was also a huge standout, and it felt really atypical for him as well since I think this is the first time he's used an organ as the primary instrument. It's really sweeping and emotional, and it's probably my favourite soundtrack for the year.
The movie was so well shot as well. Everything was gorgeous.

Everything Matthew does, he does good. One of the best actors this generation. Especially the last 5 years or so. Damm.
Oh and the black holes was fucking epic. The whole visual style was sooo good. Not too flashy like Transformers, star trek, and other space flicks. The color palette was believable and recognizable. The cinematography was amazing.

For a while, it was really hard to remember that Matthew McConaughey is a great actor; he's really turned his career around (as you mentioned) in the last 5 years.
Yeah, the black hole was amazing. It looked so beautiful and was really stunning. And it's scientifically accurate - the physicists working on the film conducted new research and believe it's what a black hole really looks like.

Not all of it was accurate.
The sanction mechanism Cooper suffered was all wrong. He should be spagghetified. -

The sanction mechanism Cooper suffered was all wrong. He should be spagghetified.Sorry, I should have been clear: in terms of what a black hole looks like, it's allegedly accurate.
