Voting for 'Rating' doesn't give any bonus but you can vote a category for any torrent you have completed and that will give you two bonus points. That option only appears after you have completed the download.

And voting for categories is worth it, take it from me, and after the system registers your category vote it automatic like takes to vote the rating. My leopard print hanky means yes I am an art critic.

Thank you, cannonmc, for providing that information! I have been searching searching searching for the place where that figure is stated… I only saw it written that voting gets points, but not how many. On the bonus page, it does not mention category voting at all... Any way to have this remedied?

Yes…. Voting for categories will give you 2 SBP per torrent voted. These SBP will add up to be able to be used for things like building your ratio.
Also, on the topic of torrent voting, this measure was put into place to help automatically filter torrents into their respective categories. When it receives enough votes for one particular category, the system will eventually change the default category to the most popularly voted one. In short, it helps keep things running in many ways, both for us and for you.

To vote do you have to download everything in the torrent?
Example a torrent has four clips and twenty photos can you just choose to download the clips and not the photos and still be able to vote?

Yes.
A torrent needs to be announced as completed 100% (of all files) by the torrent client and that announcement registered by the tracker to be recorded as "snatched" in the data base. Only those completely downloaded files torrents can be vote for.
