Sorry potentially dismay any fans of tattoos or those who have them, but am I the only one who is absolutely turned off by them?  For me, even the sight of one on a man in a video makes me not able to watch it – even if the guy is smoking hot otherwise.  In cases where the tattoo is very tiny I can occasionally ignore it, though (provided his hotness compensates for it).

Not really looking to hear from the pro-tattoo crowd here.  I respect your tastes, it's just not for me.  I'm similarly turned off by piercings (except for PAs and nipples -- go figure).

I don't REALLY dislike them but they don't do much for me.

You don't need to apologise for your dislike, we all have our own little preferences 🙂

Oo, why hate it so much? I understand not liking it, but not wanting to see a video of a guy with some is kinda too much. I understand if the guy is covered with tattoos, but a few ones is too much…

Well, I like Tattoos, although I don't have any and don't want to (I would want to change it a few months later, hehe). But of course it has a limit, I dislike when the guy have so many random tattoos and the body just looks dirty. To cover a part of the body with tattoos, only if it's one well made.

About piercings, it's one thing that I dislike. I don't mind a small one, but I really hate those guys who put that huge thing on their ears Oo. I also dislike cigarettes, I hate them, wouldn't date a guy who smokes, but I don't care watching movies with guys who smoke or have piercings Oo.

I was with a guy once who liked me to inhale weed and then blow the smoke into his dick.

I am actually a fan of tattoos and have a lot myself.

I am not gonna try and convince you to change your taste. I respect that

              but at the same time.

I am SICK of seeing comments like "Such a hot boy.. why ruin it with tattoos". "Why would you destroy your body like that". (go to any PORN blogs, you'll see comments like this everytime someone posts a guy with tattoos)

I understand Tattoos are not everyone's cup of tea. But to say we ruin our body with them and don't respect ourselves just because we have a different way of expressing ourselves? That's a bit much, don't you think?

I'm somewhere close to your opinion…  I find tattoos distracting in porn, and not in a good way... although occasionally some of the smaller and better done ones are tolerable to me.  I actually once wrote a porn production company to ask if they could produce more porn with less tattooed guys, and got a prompt reply from the producer basically saying that "the guys came that way and there was nothing she could do"  (to which I translated it that she had no control over casting.)  That does beg the question though, whether that tats help the stars lend more work or less...  Some of the guys with over-done tats seems to appear on some of the sketchier sites...

I certainly do think it a bit much. Your taste, your choice, your body 🙂

I find cliched tattoos the worst (e.g., tribal designs, bear paws).

I can deal with small or simple ones on the arms, but when they start getting bigger and are elsewhere on the body, they are a major turn-off for me.

I like skin; I like how it looks.  For me, the vast majority of tattoos ruin that.  If I want to look at art (and good art) I don't want to look at in on your art.

AND if you have tattoos of different colors, the ONLY way you are going to keep them those colors is if you almost always keep that tattoo and your skin out of the sun for the rest of your life.

For me the stupidest thing about tattoo is so many of them are based on assumption, a wrong one, that you body is never going to change shape or that you are going to get older.

Since you seem to be a daddy . . .

There was a video I loved to watch of a suited daddy getting sucked off.  I watched it many times over the years.  Finally I saw another video of this daddy where he gets naked – AND HIS WHOLE LEFT LEG IS PRACTICALLY COVERED IN TATTOOS.  I was devastated.  I can still watch the clothed video but . . .

I must say it's very disturbing to read that anyone could be thrown off by a tattoo. That to me is extremely shallow, especially if you find that same person attractive. I can find reason in someone not liking multiple tattoos that cover a large part of body and I respect that. To find them distracting? Umm, sorry but no. Where are you even looking at? I'd sooner be distracted by someone's hair style than by a grotesque tattoo.

For me tattoos enhance a person's physique and give it another level of appeal. Quite frankly, the more the better. I have none on my body, but would certainly love to have them, as well as on my partner. However, I would never feel devastated if someone I find attractive didn't have them.

Just like solemnly said, I too am sick of comments that claim someone's body is ruined by tattoos. And most of the times it's muscular guys with a body you can only dream to have.

I think in many cases tattoos are a sign that the guy has an inferiority complex about his masculinity, so he needs to 'toughen' himself up.

Tatoos, no thanks, specially tribal ones. I have one big reason to hate them, I don't have a nice & clean skin, I have marks from acne in certain places on my body, and I dislike it, so I hate specially these guys  with no marks or scars in his body, with a smooth & nice skin ruined with his "cool" ink shit (in the 80-90% of the times, with tribal, name's,etc that are far away to be considered art)

Don't try to assume things you know nothing about.

I have a lot of tattoos. I didn't get any of these to toughen up myself. When I'm out in public, I tend to hide my tattoos. Not because I'm ashamed of them. I just don't want people to ask me questions what the tattoos are and why I got them

I got my tattoos for myself. not for an image or a validation

                                PS: Women get tattoos too.

I'm beside of every man with tattoos in this world. So, cheers guys, you did a great job  .

I always think that tattoo is work of art and I always admire people with high sense art, like I love movies and musics as an art outcome. So, when it come to art, its always beautiful, whatever it is, its always beautiful.

Women with tattoos are entirely different and more horrendous ballpark.

You can do many things with your life – and that's great.  There are people who put bones in their noses and plates in the mouths, too.  I'm sure it attracts certain people looking for that kind of thing -- which is a minority.  When someone says, "Hey, I don't really care for guys with bones in their noses" it shouldn't be utterly shocking or offensive.  To me, a tattoo is nothing but a self-induced permanent rash. And just like I wouldn't be too thrilled about hooking up with a guy with a rash on his ass, I wouldn't really care to find a tramp stamp either.

No doubt. All my ink has special significance: either to memorialize a unique event or in tribute to another. For those that indulge for purely decorative reasons, I say good for you too!

Its neither my place nor desire to pass judgement on how one lives his/her life or how they choose to express themselves as long as they can respect others' right to do so as well.

I've mellowed out quite a bit when it comes to tattoos (I used to be really anti)

I still tend not to like them, especially if they're huge and/or rather… sudden but a few small, tasteful ones can look pretty good (I'd never have any though)
