Yes - Torchwood is amazing.

There is a very real drop about mid-way through Season Two - but it recovers relatively well.

And the makeout fight between John Barrowman and James Marsters at the beginning of Season Two borders on being porn.

But, the series does pan out well.

The romance between Jack & Ianto is great.

Season Three (a mini-series, called "Children of Earth") is both clever & heart-wrenching.

Season Four is the one that runs on Stars & takes place in America - and get's very sexy & hot.

And, yes, Reese - Gwen's husband - is hot as Hell…  Love those chubby guys - and, yes, you do get to see his ass.

I am now relieved that Capaldi is at least a long-time fan of the show.

Matt Smith had never watched it until he was going to audition.

I truly despise what Moffat has done since he has taken over the show - it is unfortunate that Matt Smith has suffered from Bad Writer's Syndrome.

I have been watching this show since I was in the 4th grade - and was immensely pleased to have it back, again.  Davies was amazing, but Moffat hated him so much that he is sacrificing the show to get rid of anything Davies created.

The last Christmas Special (Matt Smith's final episode) was so ill-conceived that I almost considered giving up on the show (my favorite show, by the way) entirely.  My other half wants to see it, though - so I will suffer the premier with him.

I am chanting to my self over and over, though:  "Please don't let it suck!  Please don't let it suck.  PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE don't let it suck!!"
