Hi Krwing, I'm taking it you've remembered IGII. It's a good prog if you want some control over your images.
If you want a blunt approach Media Player Classic will produce contacts of various sizes taking a snapshot a regular intervals. It does for most of my thumbnails if all I want is to suggest a flavour of the movie.
