Very interested in entering the irc chatrooms but when I type in the server and channel it never seems to connect.
I'm using this for server: irc://irc.gaytorrent.ru:6667/Gaytorrent.ru
I'm using port 6697 as shown on the chat instruction page
I've tried switching SSL connection on and off to no avail…
I can't seem to get the Java client to run on my macbook in Safari or chrome
so... what gives? Am I doing something wrong?
I don't really use irc, I've only used once many years ago so I'd appreciate the help getting into that chatroom.
