About the ending:

! The ending is not tragic.  Though the movie supposedly has a different ending than the book, I'm pretty sure it's supposed to capture the spirit of the book's ending, which is bittersweet.  The book ends years into the future where both men seem happy in their heterosexual relationships.

If they are going to be less dramatic about it and change the ending…

! i see both of them running to each others arms after some realization: and  let an open ending i dont like the idea. Hope they do better :s

En general salir del closet ayuda a normalizar la situación para homosexuales más jóvenes que necesitan sentirse apoyados; pero es recomendable sólo siempre que sea seguro hacerlo: no estás obligado.

algunos amigos me hicieron esa pregunta y honestamente me reí mucho: "no para nada: de hecho uds son como lo más opuesto a lo que me gusta; montón de princesas"  … pues la verdad  el problema sería si alguno te gustara xD

es una manera muy confrontacional de responder y funcionaría con personas cerradas: pero es menos bélico contestar que sencillamente no te sientes atraído lo suficiente por una mujer para siquiera acostarte con una.

Tal vez algo dentro del sexo te pueda dejar de gustar: pero radicalmente como una orientación no lo creo.

No entiendo muy bien si es una pregunta con respuesta o qué xD
Pero presión social y rechazo cultural a la homosexualidad en dicha cultura sería mi apuesta.
