I think the question is a bit wrongly worded.
Does the bible condemn BEING gay? NO! you can be gay and not have sex or have a partner ever and bible is fine with that.

Does the bible condemn homosexuality? Yes! Homosexual acts are condemned and punishable by stoning to death.

Homosexuality is a naturally occurring phenomena of the animal kingdom, Bible is a bad fiction made up by people in power at the time, and most of what is in the bible is proven to be wrong today.

So when they say Gay - Christian (they mean) = Hypocrite. Usually Christians just pick and chose nice bits from the bible to suit their needs and that's how it goes.
So if you're an honest person, bible doesn't matter 

Depends on the country I suppose.
But mostly yes. Isn't it?
