Gracias
Dear gabito59
You are not seeding your upload; Helix - No String attached
We appreciate your recent upload. Please start seeding your torrent so it can be shared with our community.
Steps after uploading the torrent to start seeding:
1. Copy the movie/data file(s) into the default download folder/directory of the torrent client program. That is where new downloads go first.
2. Go-to the description page of the uploaded torrent and click "Download" to get the .torrent file and open it with your torrent program. The torrent program shall find the files(s) already being there.
3. The torrent program then will check the file(s) to 100% if found and matching. If the re-check doesn't start automatically, force a re-check. It should then switch to seeding as soon as the torrent is started.
Remark: The above works only if the file is copied to the download folder before the torrent is added to the torrent client. If the torrent is already in your torrent client program, remove the torrent from it's list first (don't delete data).
If the torrent doesn't start or queue up, force it's start. Vuze/Azureus user need to select at least the intermediate user mode to have that option.
It is likely the wrong .torrent file if your Bit Torrent program is seeding, but the torrent is never shows as seeding on the website. Follow the above mentioned steps from step 2.
If the torrent immediately starts downloading, searching for peers and/or listing you as having 0% completed, the files are in the wrong place. Either follow the below steps for ?Torrent/BitTorrent or remove the torrent (not the data) from your program and redo the above steps.
Try these steps if ?Torrent/BitTorrent is searching peers or downloading:
1. Stop the torrent (do NOT remove)
2. Click with the right mouse button on the torrent in ?Torrent/BitTorrent's list and select "Advanced" > "Set Download Location…" > navigate to the to the folder which contains the file, respectively folder, from which the torrent has been created, confirm with "Select folder".
3. Right mouse button click on the torrent in ?Torrent's list and select "Force re-check". The torrent should check to 100% and ?Torrent displaying "Finished" instead of "Stopped" in the status column.
4. Restart the torrent, it shall go to "Seeding" or at least to "Queued seeding"
Guides:
The Upload Guide explains how to properly upload and avoid the above extra steps. Step 4 explains the correct seeding procedure.
There are other Guides in the forum, but the concept is still basically the same. Read the seeding portion. For ?Torrent/BitTorrent, Vuze/Azureus, BitComet, qBittorrent or Transmission
An alternative to uploading via the web-interface is Quick Torrent Maker for Windows in combination with ?Torrent/BitTorrent. QTM automates the uploading process and makes uploading a breeze.
