Dead Torrent??

Hi,
I'm new and find the whole uploading thing very confusing. I tried to upload a video, and got pretty far. Unfortunately the torrent isn't visible. In fact, it's says it's "dead." Can someone tell me what I did wrong and how to fix it please?
