It is amazing how the freeleech staff makes you happy. You enjoy the task of checking the FL every day. What a happy task. After all, you are poor. You do not have the SBP to waste, like the fortunate people.
You are the lucky one. wahooo. You found out serious hotties that other poor users did not find. Now you can dream about the hypothetic future event, that will allow you to freeleech something of value, not just trash.
Yes, you really have hopes. hopefully you will get something you may even like. Not just that, you may even get some precious points.
Now, what about a totally new idea? Make the poor users of the site richer? So they will afford to buy what they want?
How about a revolution? change the rules?

RE: Something is definitely wrong with this site or the trackers on this site
The idea that the site's experience is about relying on Freeleech, with a lottary element, where to poor users are looking for handouts given to them from time to time, while most of users can watch the rich contents that is not available to them - this is a fair description of the situation.
The ONLY way to gain points and keep the balance is by uploading files that very few (relatively) will use. All other methods have lots of promise and huge disappointment. -
RE: Something is definitely wrong with this site or the trackers on this site
The problem is in the site structure. Most userrs cannot download torrents because their ratio is too restrictive. It is like a market with huge supply of goods, but people do not have money to buy.
Therefore, most users rely on freeleech, which as in the example above, are discarded goods that no one wants, but are "free".
In the market analogy, the central bank releases the money supply, so people have more money, and they can buy more goods. When they buy, the seller is happy, the buyer is happy. Everyone is gay.
But political establishment are against gay and happy people :cry2:

RE: Anyone who manages it to keep 1.0 or above ratio without donating?
Great. Currently there are 412 users connected. I have counted that about 350 are with low ratios, thus cannot download freely. Many of the users with ratio above 0.8 have extreme rations. They should be uploading continuously, but I do not see their torrents.
With my freeleech I was not as successful as you were. However, what is the point? Are we in this business for the fun of availing torrents we did not select? -
RE: Suggestions on Ratio?
It is all in the design and operational rules. As a user, you have entered the ratio gloom.
The idea of competing for the "free leach" program is entering into a competition with all other users. Nothing good will come of it, just wasted effort and traffic paid by users who contribute the free leach.
The systems gets you on the hook by escalating the required ratio, as you become a "user". That way, when the meaning of every % of ratio becomes a huge obstacle, user is stopped and forced to climb another impossible step.
Pawpcorn advise is not practical. It does not help if you avail all your downloads for fellow users. They do not have the ratio that allows them to download, so the files remain static for days.Of course, you can upload. But that is not a real option if you count the number of daily uploads.
Of course, you can pay for your rights. The only solution to this situation is removing two words from the rules.

I do not have access to statistics about the daily uploads count. lets say there are 200. That means all other users enjoy being members to a site that will not allow them to breath.
To correct the matter, seed points should be allocated by the number of active torrents.

RE: Raising ratio
The war against ratio is doomed to fail. The only method that is of value is to upload. All the other methods will give you peanuts.
There is no point in keeping many torrents waiting for no one. Each torrent loads your system. There is no real insentive to maintain torrents alive.
The basic real idea of the site is the exchange program. Whatever you upload (plus premium) you can download.
Not a good way to keep users happy.
