I don't think my torrents have been uploading for a few months now. At first I thought maybe I was just downloading things other people don't want enough, but now I'm not so sure. Is there a troubleshooting protocol I can follow to find out what the hell is wrong? I've been surviving by converting slowly chalked up bonus points into GB, and the other day I just went ahead and paid off my outstanding upload debt, but while I'm happy to support this place I don'rt want to have to do that every time when I'm certainly putting the hours in, even if the stuff doesn't seem to upload.

Can someone help me out here? Where should I start looking first? I'm not very savvy with torrents specifically, though I do know my way around a computer…

You are seeding 15+ torrents that no one  is leaching them.  They have many seeders but no one wants to download them.. That is why.  Have a click on your username next to the welcome back then open up your seeding list.

Thanks for replying! So it's literally because nobody wants the torrents I seed, rather than a technical snafu?

Yes, there is no technical  issue.

Like I mentioned in another thread… you might want to download high traffic torrents and allow them to seed for a while. The majority of my upload comes from very few files, even though I download many more files.

I recommend new freelech torrents. Also torrents uploaded in the last 12 hours (the newer the torrent, the better). Then just leave your computer on and seeding. I usually get the majority of my torrents up to a 1.00 ratio within 48 hours (although I do also get about 20% that won't bother going above 0.5 for ratio).

Been doing it like this for the past month and I have really raised my ratio.

In addition, if you have utorrents, you can sort your files by last active and see what torrents were recently accessed/uploaded.

"The box said 'Requires Windows XP or better'. So I installed LINUX…"
