He passed away January 10.
I don't buy his theories but they made me think.
One observation he spread is how ancient cultures would show their gods with handbag or bucket (banduddu), sometimes paired with feathery stick (mullilu).

von Daniken had much to say about ancient aliens, astronauts etc.
while mainstream archaelogists say it's to do with hand-fertilization of date palms.......... & mesoamerica had no edible date palms worth hand-fertilizing, so, ???????!
