Reuploading Unregistered Torrents
-
Was going through my downloads and have discovered that a couple are listing as "unregistered" before I had the chance to completely seed. Is it fine to reupload them? I don't think they violated any rules and I'd like to correct my ratio.
-
@pornoaf-0 first you need to sort out why they were deleted, if they're not against the rules. if you fail to seed 100% in the first 48 hours it will be automatically deleted and if the happen often you might get restricted.
-
@ianfontinell-0 Neither were my torrents is the thing, is there a way to figure out why they were removed?
-
@pornoaf-0 I've heard that the most reliable way of finding out wis with a ouija board, and even then that only gives a result 0.001% of the time. You will not be able to persuade staff to share this info with you.
-
@pornoaf-0 Sometimes it is possible to find out why, but it all depends on what was done when they were removed, and if the staff has access to the right parts of the system to dig for that information.
-
@MrMazda i think i might've generated enough seedbonus to offset anyways.

at the expense of the people who never managed to finish their download, as the system does not refund the downloaded bytes when a torrent goes unregistered.
i was downloading a torrent (Gab Otaku) and it stalled at 37% because it got unregistered and one admin even said he couldn't tell what happened, as in he didn't know.

@ianfontinell-0 Ah i didn't realize that happens
