I was just discussing this on Reddit. ALL the (rather randy) ladies there think the song is straight up porno.
I'm curious if other gay guys interpreted the song this way? My partner and I didn't. We assumed it was about romantic seduction.

Did 13yo gay boy me just not register the references to "sleeping buds bursting into bloom" as being about lady gardens? Then just carried that innocence into adulthood.

I get that Christine sings "our bodies entwining", I took this as a romantic embrace, not them banging. Christine is saying anything she can to distract him while the police arrive to arrest him.
