3/4 kg (750 Grams) Apples
½ dl water
3-4 tablespoons of sugar
150 breadcrumps
4 tablespoons of sugar
50 Gram butter
1/4 litre (2½ dl) Whipping creme
Redcurrant JellyPeel the apples and cut them into slices(apple wedges). Boil the apples tender with the water in a heavy-based saucepan. Stir the apples thouroghly so they begin to mash and season to taste with sugar. Cool the apple mash.
Mix breadcrumbs with sugar. Melt the butter in a frying pan. Pour the Bread Crumb mix in the pan and fry it golden in a steady heath. Cool the bread crumbs. Put the apple mash and the bread crumbs stratified(one layer over the other?) in a bowl. Decorate with whipped cream and redcurrant jelly. -
