What series are you currently watching?

@djsoapbubble Thank you! I'll gladly check on them. Most of the actors and actresses you've mentioned definitely belong to my list of favourite stars.

Velma. I enjoy the adult humor/content integrated with a few familiar characters
-
@Rotron Yeah, I'd suggest heading over to RARBG or maybe 1337x. As you will see, there are a lot of seeders and thirsty leechers, lol! All three of these shows are hugely popular, and I'm sure Paramount is overjoyed.

@musclejizz Oh! Velma from Scooby Doo has her own show now?! She does look different from the original and she's lesbian?! Haha Looks funny indeed.
-
@djsoapbubble I will. I go there when there's something I really can't find. They surely should.

I saw Velma listed in the torrent list, but it didn't register in my mind that it was Velma from Scooby-Doo Mysteries! Oh, yes! I am downloading this cartoon series! The only animated show I have and watch all the time is Bob's Burgers, so I hope this will be worth watching. God, I sound like a couch potato, lol!

@djsoapbubble It was an interesting take on the characters. There seems to be a lot of complaints about certain aspects, but honestly sometimes I just need crass humor like the stuff they seem to have in this series

@musclejizz Oh yeah, people were the same when it came to Maleficent. Remember? Because Disney made the decision to retell the story? I think anytime when something gets retold and breaks outside the traditional norm of familiarity, it's always going to receive negative critique. Another example of that would be Disney's new take on the Little Mermaid. Wait. What? Ariel can't possibly be a mermaid of color. No freakin' way. Yeah, that kind of mentality.

I'm on the last month of a free Apple TV+ subscription. I'm in the middle of S2 of Mythic Quest, which is surprisingly good and also the After Party - which is both different but also funny and good. Of course, I saw both seasons of Ted Lasso, but can also recommend a lot of their non-fiction stuff, especially HOME for those who like architecture and design, as well as their nature stuff - currently the dinosaur series but the nighttime film is great and the three seasons of the motorcycle travel with Ewan McGregor is also interesting. Of particularly interest, people might check out the documentary series Visible. And for those into SF, For All Mankind. I have not yet checked out the other stuff, like SEE, or FOUNDATION and probably won't until I decide to subscribe again in six months or so.
I had a friend who was letting me use their Netflix account for years but really found it to be a lot of dross and I am glad I never paid for it. I thought Q-Force was just really forcing what humor it had and generally badly scripted and conceptualized. I did enjoy the Sandman but I'm not really a fan of horror and I hope they move away from it for S2 as the graphic novels do. The parts of this series I enjoyed were the things like the story about Hob and the dreams of the cats, versus the stuff that tries to hit the horror elements.
