Most of the time the system doesn't see when I am seeding. Right now I am seeding 8 torrents. I leave the computer on in order to seed.
However I have lost hundreds of seeding bonus points. Any advice?

What is your torrent client programme, what is the shown status of these torrents and do you see a message from the tracker?

          Thank you

Using the latest uTorrent. Operating system OS X ML.
Status: seeding, but 2 of them show a red arrow, I don't know if that means that they are dead or that nobody is connected (in fact nobody is connected, neither seeds nor peers).
I don't see any message from the tracker, but right now here it shows that I am seeding 6 torrents.
That is how it should be and I hope it stays that way.

For the message from the tracker, respectively the error, select the torrent with the red arrow, then look in µTorrent's lower window part under the "Tracker" tab what is marked behind the tracker announce URL.

If I got your instructions correct, what I get is: "Failure: unregistered torrent"

"unregistered torrent" [1] means the torrent has been deleted from the tracker. There are many possible reasons for deleting a torrent:

                • removed by the original uploader
                • not seed completely by the original uploader
                • dead (no activity, not seed for a while)
                • found duplicate
                • issues with the files ((e.g. DRM, does not play)
                • found not "gay"
                • DMCA Take down request by a copyright owner or it's agent
                • banned

                just to name some

[1] = not to confuse with "unregistered torrent pass"
