Why my torrents always stalled for hours/days and why it says my ratio is bad (it's not)?
-
I can never download any torrent immediately, I always have to wait dozens of hours or days before it finally starts downloading. Until that, the torrent is stalled. If I press on a file and open 'trackers' it says 'gaytorrent tracker not working. Message: Bad ratio.Too many torrents, your current limit is 7 at a time'.
I don't understand what does it mean! First of all, my current ratio is 0.700 which is enough for downloading and I can have like 30 or even more downloads a day, if I'm not mistaken. But a few days ago I tried to download only two torrents and they are still stalled all these days! I tried a third torrent today and it's stalled too. Why does it say i'm having a bad ratio and that my limit is 7 downloads if I only have 3 downloads that are stalled...I don't have anything else being download right now! I only have 111 finished torrents and these 3 stalled ones. Why doesn't it download? I've been having this problem for years, since the very beginning when I started using this website. I never understood why do I have to suffer like this, always waiting for days, awaiting the download to finally begin...What am I doing wrong and how to fix it? -
Try to limit your download if possible [finish torrent before starting other download] ...
multiple download will prevent you from downloading torrent and will result in Bad Ratio [too many torrents] ...
12 torrents download is the maximum to avoid Bad Ratio warning ...
Incomplete files are considered leeching while seeding, once file is completed then other queued torrent will follow ...
It will update every half an hour ...

One thing you might want to check is whether you have a lot of torrents that you've intentionally downloaded part of but not all of. If you choose to just download some of the files in a torrent you can end up showing as a 'leecher' of that torrent and you get treated as if you're permanently trying to download it.
On the main site, if you click the up/down arrows on the top bar you'll be taken to a page of statistics about yourself. If you then click 'show leeching torrents' at the bottom, you'll see the list of torrents that the system believes you're downloading. From your torrent client you could remove some of those if you're not trying to download any more of them, and that might free you up.
