this must remain private @ all times ...
same thing when you create a new torrent, if you try to upload a new content ...
The reason why you're offline time out if the server is busy ...
[or no connection]
It will update itself once connection is establish w/ no issue ...
If not stop your client exit and reboot your PC ...
This is what I do when offline taking long time to update [torrents are red] and works all the time ...
if the problem still persist stop the torrent and do a force recheck [right click] ...
or remove and delete the torrent [not the file] and re-download it from here
and start all over again [make sure to find the path correctly ...

As this is a private site and as a security measure, we do not allow DHT, Local Peer Discovery and Peer Exchange.

I'm having the same problem, unable to download anything even freeleech stuff.
Tried to change torrent client but it did not work.
Paid seedpoints to have a good ratio, still does not work for freeleech or regular torrents.
No idea what's wrong.
When I click on a torrent it's "stalled" and the tracker "does not work".

This means you're not connected ...Torrent not downloading can be caused by the network restriction.
If you're on a public network, such as school network, company network, coffee shop network, etc.,

@john32123666 Hello, it means I'm not connected to gaytor.rent or on the internet in general?
My internet connection is stable albeit slow, I can download and seed torrents on other sites so I don't think my ISP blocks that, I just seem to have problems with this site in particular. People can download stuff from me but download doesn't start on any torrent, even freeleech ones.
Thanks for your answer, I hope I find a way out of this, it's very frustrating

For the meantime stop all your torrent running and exit your client ...
Make sure to have copy of the torrent/file ...
Try to uninstall and reinstall your client [do a web search if you don't have your torrent software app] ...
Now make sure you have enough disk space from your hard drive or other downloadable external HDD [hard drives] ...Try to select any download from this link you desired: [choose 1 torrent only and do a force start or force resume] right click/properties ...

[be aware of multiple torrent running as this will trigger and slows your bandwidth process] ...
