Sorry if this is a stupid question - I think I'm starting to understand what's going on….

I'm using uTorrent. Once I download a file it goes into the selected "download file." Can I not rename it (I'm a little OCD about organizing my porn 🤷🏻‍♂️) or move it to an external hard drive? It looks like every time I do that, uTorrent starts to download it again (and I'm assuming it stops seeding?)

Also, to seed a file, do I have to keep the original .torrent file? Or can I delete that once the file is done downloading?

      THANK YOU!

regardless of original or copied files as long as 100 % downloaded…
you can delete w/c ever you want to reduce disk capacity...
to seed, download [torrent] and point and locate the exact name/folder/files/location to your hard drive where ever you keep them…
[if you rename the torrent file/folder...copy and locate the torrent name and rename the exact copy of torrent file that you own...
once force re-check started you can see the progress of the torrent if the file is right...
        Good Luck !!!
