How can i record my own vids.
-
hi,
first of all: sorry for my bad english.i need to ask this question:
how do the guys (like bedroomboys on xtube) record their voyeur vids,
which hardware do they use,and how do they hide them?
can someone tell me about it?
i love to watch and know a lot of places, and would love to make my own vids.
of course i will share them -
I don't know if I'm correct but if you use a mobile phone like Nokia or Blackberry, for example, you have in the package the cd software that you can use to download all the files you record from your cell in your pc and viceversa.
Same for a digital camera: you record and then you move all of your pics in the pc and then again on the web sites like X-Tube or whatever you like.
All of my pics, were taken with a simple Nokia mobile phone and my camera and then put here in the forum dowloading them without any problem.
For the video clips, you can use site hosts like megaupload or filesonic. Am I correct? Â ???

Your best bet would be to invest in a mini-DV camera. It's like a mini portable DVD recorder. Aside from that, if you have a more traditional camera that uses something like a VHS, there are little devices you can get that plug into your computer's USB port and allows you to record to your computer from any kind of device, either using your standard red, white, and yellow RCA cables, or a red and white RCA cable and an S-Video cable. This solution would prove to have a much more universal application, because then even if you have a little mini recorder that you cannot connect to your computer directly for whatever the reason, or have some other form of media you want to import, it makes it easier to get it onto your computer in a video format.
As for the mini recorders, you can also get some that have a very small camera that hooks into the rest of the "base" with a cable, so that it can be tucked away and hidden. In most cases, you can either record directly to your computer, or to some sort of storage on the "base", which you could either play back to import, or if it is digital, simply import the physical media card or disc that it records onto.
Speaking of the digital equipment, your best bet if you were to go with a digital format is to get one that does NOT record to a disc, but rather a removable media such as an SD card. The reason for this is that if during the recording process, the camera (particularly the disc) should get moved or otherwise exposed to any kind of vibration or shock, it can affect the recording and cause problems in the end. The only time a digital device that records to a disc should be used is if it is either standing steady on a tripod, or set on something where it will not be moved during the recording. Even at that though, the cost of the discs gets expensive over time, as compared to a more traditional type of storage like an SD card, which can be re-used time and time again.

I agree with everything Mr. Mazda has said and more.
I'm in the market for a new camera of the "covert" variety. My first priority is to move away from analog (VHS/Hi8/etc) and ignore digital devices that are clearly standard digital cameras, phones, and iphones.
When I was a bit more adventurous I used a pinhole/camcorder combination to capture all sorts of things without ever being detected. Not even necessarily things of a "sexual" nature. I just enjoyed recording people acting naturally in whatever situation. (Perhaps with the occasional dick/ass showing up.) The pinhole was powered by a 9 volt and connected to the recording device (camcorder) via RCA cable. There was a time when camcorders had Video-IN options. Crazy. I know. Today this seems downright prehistoric BUT one of the BIG benefits to this set up was that you could see what was being viewed by the pinhole with the camcorder doing the recording – from a distance. I considered it my own CCTV setup that would record whatever the pinhole could see.
But technology has changed so acceptable standards have changed. For example, I've downloaded countless older (80s, 90s) men's locker room spycam offerings. While often good -- these are clearly transfers from old VHS tapes that could not stand the test of time. They're often grainy with tracking issues. Though I must say I sit here and scratch my head because even with all these new options for covert filming there is rarely any "new" content shared.
I've been looking at this particular line of cameras (though perhaps not his specific one): hxxp://www.amazon.com/Worlds-Smallest-Resolution-Camcorder-Reader/dp/B002KA52SS
It seems to offer the clarity I'm looking for and it records audio (many don't). It stores data onto an SD card that can be read by a USB SD card reader (included). This is similar to what MrMazda was describing and likely the most ideal. I know of at least one Xtube user who swears by this style. It's also under 100 bucks if not cheaper than the link provided. The only drawback is it stores a max of only 8 gigs on a two hour built in battery and there's no way to know if you're really pointing it in the right direction. Hmmmph!

I personally don't want to be responsible for siting anyone to do anything illegal - not on a public forum. If you do enough web searches, you'll find equipment that may fit your personal needs. I'm sure your equipment needs will be dependent on the particulars of your "sighting" situation. Good luck! And if your successful, do share!

and this days the equipment is very cheap. But it's ilegal to record without consent.
