Moral conflict of liking chubbies
-
This is probably going to sound weird to some, but ever since I realized I liked chubby guys, I've constantly been thinking, what about fat guys who don't like being fat? (i.e. probably most people lol)
Obviously part of why I like them is because they're a little chunkier, but if they don't want to be that way, wouldn't it make sense to encourage them to lose weight and get healthier? Like I said, probably going to sound weird to some -

Like I said, probably going to sound weird to someDepends on the situation. I met someone once who LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVED super-chubs! I was never a super chub. However, I was extremely insulted when he point blank told me I was too small for his taste. I told him to go fuck himself!! Now, he did try and smooth up to me later because he new he was fucked up for saying it. But I gotta tell you, I"d be very uncomfortable meeting a man who would try to deliberately make me over eat because of a fetish. That's not right. LOL.

Wow, that's… a story. Sounds super rude lol. My taste isn't exactly that kind of extreme, but I was thinking of something along those lines. I know there's a community for this kind of thing, but it's super niche and very unlikely. I just wouldn't want to like someone for a trait they themselves hated.

Yes, although it is a "niche," it is somewhat a close nit community. I think you're making a bigger deal than it actually is. In the bear community, if you meat someone who is actually a bear, chances are they will stay a bear. Unless they go through an extreme health problem that results in them losing an extreme amount of weight, they will always be a bear. Trust me when I tell you, a lot of it is genetic. Not to worry too much… LOL

People change. Every second and every day. And what holds now as a rule might change tomorrow. When you are with the same person for so long you might not care if they lost weight or not. Some people might be excited about being big guys at some point, getting bigger, then losing weight at another point, then becoming more muscled, etc. There's no right or wrong, it depends on the situation. It is not your obligation to advise people on how to live your life, but it's an ethical thing to make sure that say someone who is overweight and diabetic understands that there is a strong tie between his weight and the severity of his disease. Then again, that should be up to his doctor. It's a very tortuous subject but it's never wrong to ease into it with someone, and having vulnerabilities is always a nice thing to show.

Yeah, that's true… However, while people naturally change as they get older, at the same time, human beings are also creatures of habit. Sometimes it takes decades of life experience before people change, and sometimes not even then. I actually think the percentage of people that change their views on certain subject matters are a lot smaller than people think.
