WATERSPORTS and VOYEURISM… And member threats

My understanding, based on the rules of this site as well as on direct discussions with moderator, the late Kinsey6, is that voyeur videos ARE allowed here. And by the messages I've received, they are very much appreciated, if by an esoteric group. That said, I recently received a direct threat by member name removed, threatening to report me for uploading "this shit" (voyeur videos). If the genre is allowed and each upload has been approved (they are and they have), then I should NOT have to deal with threats by another member. If any member is apposed to any specific upload, they should simply avoid it. (As with television, if you don't like the program, change the channel. Don't impose your personal hang-ups on others by attempting to force a network to change it's programing.) If a member on this site is so offended by what he sees here that he feels the need to threaten another member (me), then this is probably not a site he should be a member of. This behavior is not only offensive, it threatens the integrity as well as the very existence of the site. A site so many of us appreciate and enjoy; I've found no other like it. I feel this is a matter that needs to be dealt with. I hope others, including staff, will weigh in with their own thoughts on the matter.

stealfire: You are correct. There was a much lengthy discussion among the staff with regards to whether or not they should be allowed. The only concern that mgr had raised about this topic was the possibility of invasion of privacy, however nevertheless it was ruled that such content is permitted on the tracker.
I would suggest to the user that is threatening you to be very careful of how they play their cards. Threatening, intimidation, or harrassment of other users is something that we do not tollerate on gaytorrent.ru. As such, any instances of users who threaten, attempt acts of indimidation, or harrass another user will be dealt with as is appropriate. As we are a diverse website with a wide range of content, differences of opinion and/or personal preference may arise. Should you (or anyone) at any time not like any content on the website because it conflicts with your personal preferences, then you should simply just not download or watch such content. It is as simple as that.
That being said, I also realize that there are differences of opinion as well between users (and in some cases, even staff). I assure you that this is part of the normal process of life. I will make the official stand point on this topic very clear in no uncertain terms. Everyone has and is entitled to their own opinion. That being said however, this does not give any user the right to impose or otherwise force their opinion on other users. In the event of a difference of opinion (or disagreement) between two users (including staff), you have the right to express your opinion (as per your freedom of speech), however it is not acceptable to "enforce" your opinion in a derogetory or otherwise offensive manner.
Should anyone have any questions regarding this subject, please consult with a staff member and we would be more than happy to assist you with addressing your concerns.

We discussed this in the other thread but just to follow up:
1. If you are being flamed report it to a mod.
2. Try not to become a flamer yourself but attacking a fellow user in public(i.e. a public forum post).
3. If you really need to vent try the rants and raves forum thread. It has helped me unwind many times. ;DThe point being, we all get worked up sometimes. I have uploaded well over 200 torrents in various categories and I am sure that not everyone has the same interest as me based on some of the comments and PMs I get about my torrents.
I'm at a slight advantage in that I can view members profiles to see if they have uploaded anything and to be honest they usually have not.
Sometimes ignoring a flame is the best "punishment" for a flamer. Most flamers thrive on heated dialog and adversity so take that away and you have effectively disabled them.

With cumeaternc and leatherbear on the case, I really wouldn't want to be in that user's position. It only further enforces my point of staff will take care of things
As for the upload, I say rock on! Your contributions to the site are both valued, and in my opinion are also entertaining. Don't let one petty little spec of wasted skin (the user in question) discourage you from uploading more content. If he doesn't like the content, that's his problem because there are those of us (such as myself) that do.
