You uploaded a  torrent and you have received message that states that your upload is a duplicate. You  check out the so called original torrent (link in the message you received )and notice it has an added date after your torrent.  You get mad and want to message a moderator. FIRST  You need to look in the  description of the original torrent  to see if  there is an "Original upload: xx-xx-xx ".  What this means is that torrent was added before your torrent and it was just promoted.   The original uploaded date gets moved to the desorption and a new added date appears.  There will also be a recycled sign"♺ " in  the title of the promoted torrent.

DUPLICATE files are not allowed and will be removed. You are expected to run a search for duplicates prior to submitting a torrent. Duplicates may be accepted when part of a themed collection. A file is considered a duplicate if an existing torrent has the same format and similar size (<10% difference) and has at least one seeder.

If you  have any issues with a duplicate torrent message, please reply nicely to the moderator and they will re-investigate the report.
