Since we're a predominantly a Catholic country, observance of Holy Week here is a biggie. It's started with Palm Sunday wherein people who goes to church brings "Palm" to be blessed signifying the entrance of JC in Jerusalem. On Maundy Thursday, People visits churches for the Way of the Cross, what we call Vicita Iglesia, Traditionally, you have to visit 14 churches (representing the 14 stations) or 7 churches or just one. The most penitent ones will journey through those 14 churches by walking. Then on Good Friday, People will be in procession for the Santo Entierro (Holy Burial). Then on Easter Sunday, people go to Mass to celebrate the Resurrection. Pics attached are of our tradition during Holy Week

Great pics! I've got some friends inviting me to go on a roadtrip but-
I've decided to stay home and enjoy some cold drinks and maybe the pool. The oppressive heat and withering sunshine are just too much to deal with right now.  :cool2:

Tell someone you love them today, because life is short.
But shout it at them in German, because life is also terrifying and confusing.
