Fox News had done a piece the day prior on the problems Sweden is dealing with in regards to immigration.

I'm not sure there's even evidence Trump said anything about an attack, that seems to have just been made up by some news outlets based on his something had been happening there.

Also Sweden has not been doing fantastically well since they started bringing in so many 'refugees'.

The job situation for those immigrating to Sweden has been pretty shitty, which even has had some of those immigrating there complaining that Sweden shouldn't be accepting so many people if they don't even have jobs available.

LOL…there you have it, economic immigrants complaining like little kids (they headed to Sweden on purpose). A TRUE assylum seeker would be happy to just having the bombings and the violence stop.
Actually I wonder if the economic immigrants (who weren't even syrian) who took advantage of the messy situation aren't hurting in some way the adaptation of the true refugees? (I mean, if they're still passing as 'refugees' they might me eating funds better used on someone who really lost everything)

EDIT: Alright, read them all. I must say is incredibly sad that a goverment is so hellbent in showing they are right that they refuse to acknowledge they have problems. The violence by the immigrants is worrisome, and the more the government stays quiet about it, native swedes will feel more left aside. Wonder if the police itself would riot.
It wouldn't surprise me if Sweden joins the radical right bandwagon in the future, but again, they seem to want too damn hard to be politically correct that it might kill them.

Everything that happened in those links happened after Trump made the claim about Sweden. It almost makes me think that Trump is somehow involved in these riots and he got the date wrong.

C'mon… The man is a golf-course mogul, not Nostradamus.
It's perfectly logical too think this stuff can happen. LOTS of immigrants (not refugees - because we know most of the influx was economic immigrants), went to Sweden because it had the most social welfare (they passed through countries offering assylum to go specifically there), but the State can only stretch so much.
Also, despite the speeches regarding Sweden's economic boom due to immigration, we never knew if the benefits of that boom were distributed equally. Maybe they don't have good working conditions. Immigrants feed the lumpen proletariate pool most of the time.
Besides, the negative of Sweden to make public the rate of crimes caused by immigrants (as one article says they refuse to publish that data) is fishy at best.
And is not fair, that because politicians refuse to accept they are having problems or they were wrong, the citizenship and the forces of law and order are suffering.

I wasn't implying he predicted it. I'm implying he paid some people to start a riot. It's not like it takes thousands. It only takes one or two people to get something like that started and everyone else follows suit.
I get the feeling that they are not "refusing" to publish the data. They likely just don't have it. At my job we get requests for data all the time for various things. We refuse to provide it because it simply isn't collected in the manner in which the requestor is asking.
I'm SOOOOO tired of hearing Republicans whine "it's not fair" over and over. Life isn't fair. Get over it.

Regarding the data, they stopped getting it since 2005. If there were any problem regarding the gathering process it should have been resolved by now, don't you think so? Such kind of data is important after all, isn't it?
Also, aadam…I'm not a Republican, I'm not even from the U.S (I do think I can identify with 'Libertarian' thought) and the stuff happening in Sweden shouldn't be viewed in the reductive lense of Democrat vs Republican, it just doesn't apply.

I don't agree that it's important. People have different priorities. I'm sure there is some researchers out there who want to know how many murders in Zimbabwe are performed by left handed women with brown hair. That is data that could be collected but I doubt it is.
Immigrants are typically low income. Crime is always going to be higher among low income populations.
I don't know how much you are listening to so called President Trump and his band of rejected Batman villains but not a single one of them can give an interview without whining about how "unfair" it is. They have a right to say what they want but it's sad and makes them look weak. At least the protestors are actually doing something. So called President Trump is just whining.

Sweden is becoming a failed state where politicians are more concerned with selling a false image of the country to the world than actually fixing the structural problems the country is facing, from integration of foreigners to the rise of white supremacists.
Sweden has the highest rape rate in Europe. You would think they would be very concerned and working to protect the victims, when in reality they are more concerned with denying statistical evidence.
