Lap dog. When i used to have pets I found that the cats only wanted to sit n my lap when I was reading. Their also more likely to be clawy/bitey than dogs.

Anime. Tho I appreciate the cartoon and most of western cartoonish style, anime -specially that before 2000 unless we talk about nowadays Ghibli or KyoAni- has so more life.
