Pet Peeves In Porn
-
Thought it'd be nice to point out the stuff we hate in porn so porn-makers can take notes..
Mine is when the cum scene is a close up shot of the dick and nothing else. Orgasm is such a wholesome experience where you wanna appreciate the actors' facial expression and what not, a disembodied squirting dick is most anti-climatic. Helix's been doing that which is annoying. Sean Cody on the other hand is the good example, they show cumshots several times in different angles, the close-up is complimentary to the full-body shot instead of the sole focus.
Speaking of cumshots, droplet dribblers are always a tremendous disappointment. Sean Cody again is good on that note, their solos are always a blast, I wonder if they specifically tell the actors to hydrate and edge..
Thoughts? ::)

I agree with the droplet dribblers issue! ??? It seems just sad and pathetic when the big cum shot is just a small trickle or a few drops.
My big peeve though is when they seem so listless and out of it- like they would rather be anywhere else. Or when there is clearly zero chemistry between the two or more actors and they can't even pretend that they are enjoying the act with their partner.

Great idea for a thread.
Dear VirtualRealGay:
I know that you're the only game in town, but I wish you'd try a little harder. Here are a few complaints/suggestions.
1. Hire actors who are capable of sustaining an erection. If someone has to pull their flaccid dick out of a guy's ass in order to stroke it hard again, perhaps they're not cut out for porn. (This happens in every clip I've seen thus far.)
2. Stop recycling the same tiny group of performers. For example, as incredible as Darius Ferdynand looks, there still isn't any justification for having him as the only visible actor in two POV clips AND a solo clip.
3. Speaking of POV clips…..enough! I know some guys like to pretend that they're in the movie, but I'm not one of them. Personally, I'd rather watch TWO real-as-life guys fuck in front of me than have ONE guy babbling stupid shit at me while servicing a body that could never be mistaken for mine. (Without plausibility, there can be no verisimilitude) It's okay to have some POV clips in your library, but do they have to be the overwhelming majority? Why not have the two actors switch off? That way, you could have your precious POV clips, but we wouldn't have to focus on just one guy for the entire clip.
4. I can't believe you need to be told this, but EVERY PERFORMER SHOULD CUM! Most of the clips I've watched only have ONE money shot. That's just….sad.
5. It's okay to have a performer stand so close to the camera that I have to crane my neck up to see his face and down to see his cock. However, after a minute or so it becomes painful and annoying.
Now that I've had time to list my complaints and really think about it, I honestly think VirtualRealGay can't be saved. Being the only gay VR porn company has obviously made them complacent. For now, they can get away with putting out a boring, repetitive, unimaginative product. Soon, however, another company will invest in VR and leave them in the dirt. (Hopefully, that company will be GayCastings, First Auditions, Eastboys, Beefcake Hunter, or someone similar. The best thing about VR is the ability to closely examine someone's body as if they were standing right in front of you, and I'd love to be able to do that with lots of nervous, fresh-faced young men.)

Ooooh, pet peeves!
1. Music.
Stop it. It's a) annoying, b) useless, c) distracting2. Plot.
Most porn stars can't act and watching them trying is painful. Also, we don't care. We want to see fucking. We skip those plot parts anyway.3. Side-by-side fucking
So we've been promised an orgy. Instead we got two couples fucking side by side or, worse, in the opposite corners of the same room. I doubt that qualifies. -
My pet peeve is in regards to crossgeneration / dad & son porn. Yeah, I understand it's a fantasy. But it's annoying when the guys are only 5 or 10 years apart. For me, it doesn't have to be involving an 18 year old. A scene with a guy in his thirties and a guy in his fifties is pretty damn hot. But a 20 year old and a 27 year old? You have no right to call it crossgeneration. They're peers!
