Corrupted vts files

I ripped a porn movie (Sting: A taste for leather) and it ripped fine but now I try to playback with VLC player and I get an error. I tried searching on google and tried using vobBlanker and I get this error "VTS 01: Detected 1 cells with pointers mismatch between VTS_C_ADT and PGC_PBK tables. Using VTS_C_ADT initial and ending pointers⦠
This is quite usual in ILV/multiangle VTSs, but VobBlanker does not support them, except in skip mode.
Note: This is NOT an InterLeaVed VTS
List of Cells: VTS01, PGC 001, Cell 05"
I have no idea what that means if anyone can help that would be great.
 Thanks

Just to get a bit more info: did you crunch the DVD during the rip?

@mgr: Just to get a bit more info: did you crunch the DVD during the rip? I don't understand, what does "crunch" mean?Β I copied it using ISO buster and it copied w/o errors only when I went to playback did i notice it wasn't working. I had already sent the rental back so I couldn't copy again.

Ah - ripped with ISO buster - which content part of the DVD did you rip then, the UDF-Part or the ISO9660-Part to copy the files to your hard drive? Was it a newer DVD the it could happen that you need a newer version of ISO Buster because of IIRC only V 2.6 of ISO buster has correct UTF support. Did you try to play your ripped copy with a real Software DVD player like Nero Showtime?

Did you try to play your ripped copy with a real Software DVD player like Nero Showtime? I ripped the part to copy files to my hard drive. It was Sting from Falcon Studios which is an old movie and I rented the movie. I have ISO buster 2.6. I tried playing with vlc player and it will play up until the menu screen but when I click on play movie or try to click on a chapter it will freeze. I burned a copy and tried playing on my dvd player and it would freeze at the menu screen. I was thinking of uploading it to see if someone else could fix it but don't want to piss off people who might download it.

Another method to try befoe uploading: save the video_ts.ifo file (or even better: all .ifo files) to another place and renname (or copy) all .BUP files to .IFO. The .BUP files are supposed to be a backup copy for the igo files, might be a rip mistake changed a bit/byte in the original ifo file and is still OK in the backup version. I see anothery possibility to analyze the ifo files with an IFO Editor programm (Google for IFO editor) - I use the program IFOEdit (hxxp://www.ifoedit.com). Be aware though, you need some knowledge about IFO file structure to edit an IFO file. The last possibility I see: Try to import the VTS_XX.Y files into a capable DVD authoring program and let that program create new .IFO / .BUP files for you. DVDLAB 2 is capable to handle such things

I tried another program that's supposed to automatically fix it called fixvts & vobblanker and now it will play for like 42 minutes then freeze.

I'm confused by your first method but have tried ifo editor and keep getting errors. I downloaded dvdlab but have no clue how to work it. I tried another program that's supposed to automatically fix it called fixvts & vobblanker and now it will play for like 42 minutes then freeze. That method is really easy: move (from the VIDEO_TS folder) all files with an IFO extension (*.IFO) to a safe place elsewhere (not to damage them) and copy or rename all files with extension .BUP to the same name with extension .IFO (copy *.BUP *.IFO) There should be a BUP file for every IFO file when the rip was ok (like VIDEO_TS.IFO/BUP, VTS_01_0.IFO/BUP and so on). My second suggestion (IfoEdit) : as I said before: you need good knowledge of the structure to use IfoEdit. DVDLAB2: after creating a new project select "File" -> Attach external VTS (with the existing VTS_XX_y.IFO files) and try to compile the resulting DVD. As a last resort I can offer you: upload your current DVD rip (with the error) and send me a PM. I can move the torrent file to a hidden section and can download your files and I'll hope I can find out what is wrong For that solution I need the "unrepaired files" though - not the files after you applied fixvts and/or vobblanker. For that solution I need the "unrepaired files" though - not the files after you applied fixvts and/or vobblanker.

I did move the ifo/bup files to a new folder but didn't know what to do after that.

β¦As said before: you can upload that torrent for me (hint: name it something like damaged rip - for mgr only) and send me a PM
