Over-Seeding & Not Connectable
-
I'm growing rather frustrated by two different issues that I seem to be seeing more frequently on GT.ru… Although we have no rules about over-seeding, it's getting very annoying when users are seeding 100+ torrents, as to make some of their seeds quite useless. This is the case with the following torrent:
https://www.gaytorrent.ru/details.php?id=d6ac0dcc904f624ffe9be73a4968c88759329b509b4d6afa
There are currently 7 seeders on this torrent, none of which I can connect to because they're all seeding over 100 torrents each. This means that although the tracker sees them as seeding this torrent, it is pretty much impossible to connect to any of them. This has been the case for a few days now.
The other two torrents seem to suffer a very similar problem. Namely, these two torrents:

and
https://www.gaytorrent.ru/details.php?id=915477d08d24ee6afe9be73a4968c887904edae1a4a1e1cbThe problem with these two torrents seems to be that all of the seeders are either passive nodes, which I cannot seem to connect to, or are otherwise seeding too many torrents to be able to get a connection to them. This is rather frustrating to say the least. What ever happened to people seeding their torrents responsibly and actually properly setting up their network to allow people to download from them?
I know this may sound crazy, but some of us on here actually want to be able to download torrents, and it makes it very frustrating when users are irresponsible with their connection and seeding habits, thus making it incredibly difficuly for anyone to download the torrents that they are seeding….. C'mon guys... Get with the program and hop on the progress train here, because this little homo is getting REEEEEEEEEEEEALLY frustrated by the lack of cooperation that I seem to be getting from a number of users on this site as of late.

You have access to more information that most of us but I won't even pretend to know what you are talking about.
gt.ru goes on about people needing to seed. Now when they do, you moan :sigh:
How is an individual to know he should stop seeding a particular torrent so that you can get a look in?
I profess I know little more about how torrents organise themselves (or don't) than I set a download going and come back when it's ready. Mostly it works with no problems. Uploading or downloading.
I have no idea if I am "responsible with my connection and seeding habits". Shall I stop all my current seeding torrents in case I'm blocking someone…. and how would I know?
Now if you would like to explain to those of us who don't have access to the site info you have and those of us who have no idea what you are talking about, perhaps we could help you out. Or lend you some pr0n to be going on with...
PS I think I would have preferred sending a PM to let you know how your post read to a humble member, but I can't

Same thoughts as cannonmc above.
Besides, we mustn't forget we have people here from all over the world, and not every country has the same good internet infrastructure and good connections, nor the same policies thowards file-sharing. From where I came from, for instance, you cannot be criminally charged for downloading a file, but you can for sharing it - and that includes seeding. So I'm actually risking myself when I seed a file - "responsibly" or not.
And actually, my greatest frustration here at GT.ru is not about seeders, but about leechers… I don't manage to find a single file with enough leechers to whom I can seed... they are always ZERO... and that's really, really annoying, because I can't make my ratio improve if people don't use my seeds (I mean, as far as I'm aware about this system...)... So, my ratio - which is ok for now - doesn't improve, and because of that I avoid downloading new files or search for what I want in other sites and forums so that I don't comprimise my ratio here.
I really don't know what to do. I'm open to learning and to advice. -
PS.: Mr. Mazda, I'm not complaining about your post… I'm just trying to show that maybe these users don't do that because they irresponsible or trolls, but simply because they may not know how this stuff works or because they are under different connection policies.
