 whiskey!
althoug, if I had to choose I'd say beer. The wine has to be really good to have it over beer.

neither. I much prefer Champagne, or when money is a problem some Cremant de Limoux.. though Champagne rosé is great as some cheap Roche Mazet, Veuve d'Ambal, or Arthur Metz are very nice ( about 10 / bottle ). concerning red,I really enjoy some Cahors. but in summer some rosé from Provence is refreshing.

Wine is my least favorite alcohol so I love beer normally. But I drink liquor if I'm going to bottom, I don't like having 64oz of beer in my stomach when a guy starts pounding it hard.

Grimbergen is nice (the red one is great) but in summer a nice glass of chill rosé from Côtes du Rhône or from Provence with dinner , that's quite refreshing. I mean the question " wine or beer" is bit too restrictive.. you don't drink beer the same way you drink wine : you drink wine with a meal and you drink beer at a pub after dinner. One doesnt exclude the other.
