What's your favorite Horror movie for all Time?
-
Silent Hill!
-
Insidious ;D
-
The original Halloween.
I liked some of the sequels too but there is nothing like the original.
-
Scream!
-
the cabin in the woods

This is tough. I'd say 'The Fly', the Cronenberg version. This was the first film I saw with THX. It left me in a puddle of sweat. Then again, there's 'The Devil's Rejects'. Uh, this sucker is nasty. "I am the Devil!"

Cult Classic. Not really a "horror" movie according to today's standards, but was in its time and was banned in many countries.
My all time favorite horror movie, and if you haven't seen it yet - give it a watch~! "Freaks" (1932). Best movie ever. -
And P.S. to the GREEN "WARNED" BUTTON NEXT TO MY NAME.
You moderators can kiss my fucking hairy masculine white ass. Piss off~! -
The good ol' Hellraiser trilogy
-
Kubrick's The Shining definitely.
-
^-^

Always on top is "The silent of the lambs".
And one recommendation is "I saw the devil" - Korea movie. -
How about adventure horror?
The Frighteners was surprisingly great and turns out was done by the lotr Hobbit guy. The effects might be dated now but it was enjoyable.
Burton's Sleepy Hallow was creepy and funny at the same time. Loved the mystery.

The Exorcist
-
It's tough to top the classics like Exorcist and Amityville Horror. :afr:
But my all time favorite from the moment I watched it until now is- Cabin In The Woods! A horror movie made for horror fans. :cheesy2:
-
3 Horror movies got me hooked to the whole genre
The whole "nightmare on Elm st" myth - of him invading dreams, the sing, the back story etc just got me hooked as a kid
Exorcist blew me away.. I saw it at 12 years old.. of all the moments, my mum walked in just as she had her crucifix scene (not going to elaborate) - she flew in to a rage.. took me and the VHS tape to the rental video store i had borrowed it from and demanded they tell her why they were letting a 12 yo borrow movies like this lol
Carrie was also an amazing film to me - that scene at the prom.. just epic

I STILL haven't seen that - I have not seen a horror movie in a lonnggg time…my mind set is very much sticking to very intellectual things now.. like DC Universe cartoons and a lot of badly acted gay theme films LOL

You have got to watch The Mist! Just be prepared with some nice DC film to take the edge off after. Have you seen Justice League: Dark? That was pretty good and tons of fun! Have it on after watching Mist. You'll need it.
Besides, there's also going to be a Mist TV series coming- and it looks REALLY good too! Be sure to watch the movie first.
