Any body keeping anything with more than 4 legs? Centipedes, Millipedes, Spiders, Vinegaroons, Scorpions, Mantises, Wetas, Beetles? I'm raising about 20 crickets (for fun, not for consumption).

I don't have pets with more than 4 legs now though I once had a praying mantis.

When I was younger I had a scorpion, it freaked me out so much I had to take it back. Their bodies still fascinate me - just shiver ech! The inside of their 'mouth' looks like fluffy velvet. Just thinking about it swallowing it's prey made me quite nervous.

Scorpions can't ingest solid food. They use their chelicerae to tear up prey and suck up the fluid. If you're still interested, you should join Arachnoboard, people will help you.

Well, they are cute and snappy. Eh, close enough.

Exotic simply suggests being unusual or interesting because it's from another country, but if your tortoise is interesting enough for you, then I'd say yes. 😄

I had a couple scorpions and a tarantula when I was younger. I wish I knew more on how to take care of them that time. I want to get another tarantula, but my bf is being a typical Caucasian arachnophobe. :cheesy2:
