Straight guys who experiment; are they genuine?
-
There's nothing hotter to me than a macho straight guy who's willing to experiment. But are they genuine or just in the closet?
-
Hmm that's pretty interesting. I'd want to say they're probably in the dark or unsure of their own sexuality, since I'd imagine it'd be pretty difficult to get yourself hard in front of another guy if you were straight.
-
I think it depends on the guy. Most guys are horny by nature and my belief is if they were assured nobody would find out, 85% of them would at least try it. Doesn't mean they're all gay (or bi), but just curious horny guys.

There are some genuine straight guys out there who experiment with gay sex. I was openly gay in college with two straight roommates in a shared "suite style" dorm. They knew that I was gay before we decided to room together, and they knew I had an active sex life, so there was no surprise when I brought back a guy to my own individual room within our suite. One of my roommates approached me one day and wanted to know all about gay sex. I answered what I could and what I was most comfortable answering, but then I also invited him to the next Gay Student Union meeting, and told him he could get more perspectives from other people at the meeting, besides just my thoughts. He surprised me by taking me up on my offer to come with me the very next week.
Long story short, he continued coming to the meetings. Then, one evening when I skipped an evening class that I almost never missed, I got back to our suite early and heard a noise coming from his room. It sounded like someone in pain, so I knocked to check on him. I heard the "Oh shit" and scrambling for clothes, so I just left his door and went to our shared common area and turned on the TV. Not too long after, the treasurer of the Gay Student Union emerged from Tims's room, completely shocking me, followed shortly by Tim. I didn't know what to say - as I was expecting a girl to come out. Tim had frequent sex with lots of sorrority girls and cheerleaders. I thought he was just envious of how much easier it can be for two guys to have sex, verses what he had to do to get girls back to his room. I never thought he would actually follow through on experimenting, and as a bottom at that since I knew the treasurer was a total top. I later found out that this had been happening since the first night I took him to the Gay Student Union meeting!
Tim is now 40, married for 15 years with 2 kids. He experimented with several guys during college, but married the girl he dated the last two years of college. When I see him and he asks me why I haven't settled down permananetly, I just remind him of his experimental days and how much he enjoyed that, verses the effort he has to put in to keep married life fresh. Because of his experimenting, he understands my answer.

The vast majority of humans are actually bisexual to some degree or another. It's just that Western culture has enforced heterosexuality as the norm. If you look at any other culture before the Colonial era you'll find that it was actually very normal for young men to have sex with other male youths. In some cases gay sex was considered a rite of passage.

this statement is so spot on.
to add- strict heterosexuality is enforced by abrahamic faiths which the western world adopted. the ancients have no problem with homosexuality then.

Well… sexuality is very complex and has a lot of shades of gray.
That said, however, I still believe there are way too many people who insist on refusing to admit themselves as bisexuals.
