QTM won't log me in/Downloads not seeding.
-
So, my ratio is low.
I went to upload a new torrent, but when I try to log in with QTM, I get "Error on HttpRequest 12002." The program then loads, but I can not select a category, so I can't upload.
Then, my downloads are not seeding. They are all linked correctly,I had utorrent open for hours–- never once did any of the torrents show any data in the upload column. A torrent away from this site began seeding right away.
So... I am correctly unable to improve my ratio. If anyone could help, that would be great!

Error on Http Request 12002 is a timed out error. Meaning the server didn't respond to the request in the allotted time. The program then loads without you being connected to the server and that is why you have no categories.
-
Well, how do we fix this error?
-
An alternative is to use the manual upload page. It is quite simple if you follow the instructions.
But you have to remember to download your own uploaded torrent and open it in your torrent client and save it to the place where your original file is
-
I don't know how to make a torrent file, though.
EDIT: Figured it out. Uploaded the torrent, redownloaded the torrent–-
Now I have a new problem. Original torrent is seeding, but no data is being transmitted, and the second torrent (redownload) is "connecting to peers..."
-
Stop your original torrent, only use the redownloaded one.
You can delete your original torrent once you have uploaded it here

Please allow a question; Which version of QTM were you using and if it is the latest v1.12, did you uninstall the previous version properly before installing v1.12?
-
I was using the latest version and no, I didn't think to uninstall the previous version. Kind of special situation, my computer was recently repaired, so many programs were either gone completely or still loaded but missing components. But, I'm going to manually upload from now on.

Another member reporting the same issue message on the helpdesk, got it working at another atempt, without changing anything. Perhaps you just give it a trial?
