I'm pretty excited for it. I liked the first season, but it felt a bit like it was just half a season and that it was just setting up everything for the second half. I really hope the second season just picks up where the first season left off and goes off in a higher gear.

It's really weird that she and the rest of the cast weren't noticed during award season considering how a number of them are movie stars; the TV Academy usually bends over backwards to reward them with something, and Eva Green really deserved it since it's the performance of her career. She's still incredibly strong based on the one episode so far, so I hope she gets nominated.
Evelyn Pool is such a great villain. My one problem is that her appearance in "Seance" didn't give any indication about it - she was probably the most freaked out person in that whole room - but I guess it can be explained away as needing to keep appearances since nobody's going to be welcoming to the devil-worshippers. Anyway, Helen McCrory's so magnetic! Season 1 felt like a prologue season and not having a clear big villain was its biggest weakness, so it's great that the show's second season starts with laying out its big villain and showing why she's a big deal.
I'm still not a huge fan of the Creature though. He has his sympathetic traits, but it's hard to sympathise with someone who consciously murders, and whose screen time has been spent bullying Victor.

Hate his scenes with Victor.
I think when we see Evelyn, in Seance, freaking out with vanessa, it was a real feeling, i think she needs to get her for her master, but at the same time she fears Vanessa's powers

Dorian and Angelique are killing me! I adore them so much and I like the small amount of suspension of disbelief that we have that they're not jailed for being together given the timeline, but I just… happy sigh
