"Drive is write protected"

I tried to put a file on my G drive and suddenly I'm getting an error that it's write protected.
I was using it yesterday and it was fine.
Any ideas?

Hmm, I tried the link, but Vista keeps putting it back to write protected every time I reboot.
Windows 7 doesn't have this problem.

You need to obtain Microsoft's "hotfix" for this.
Instructions and a link to download the hotfix is available from this page: hxxp://support.microsoft.com/kb/840781
(Click on "View and request hotfix downloads" at the top of the page to get the hotfix).
