Pet Shop Boys

Is there any PSB fan here? I do love them but I sometimes feel they are underrated for they gay culture contribution.
I wonder why. They're output is simply gorgeous and their song talk about everything a gay man faces in his life. -
Its a shame for me because I never really heard of their songs…
I read on Wikipedia, Pet Shop Boys, that they actually great singer, and sold more than 50 million records worldwide, 3 Brits winner and 6 Grammy nominees. I don't know how do you mean by 'underrated' or just because their 'gay culture'.
But, thank you for reminding them. Personally, I'll look forward to listen their songs

I liked It's A Sin! :cheesy2:

Neil Tennant is a legend.
You might like his collaboration with Bernard Sumner of New Order in 'Electronic', if you haven't checked that out already.
I think it's not so much Neil was underrated (PSB were a hit in the UK) as it was around two decades ago when they were at their biggest commercially.
How time flies…

They were great…
Now they are boring and no really good songs in their albums...
I love "Actually", "Introspective" and "Behaviour"...
One of the best is the album produced for Liza Minnelli "Results", a real classic gem...
-
They are awesome, I can listen to them, Erasure and Bronski Beat for hours

Don Juan (the b-side to Domino Dancing) is one of my all time fave songs.
Results - Liza Minnelli is likely my favourite Pet Shop Boys album. It's just perfect.
Though, Pet Shop Boys in concert, the Nightlife tour, was my single worst concert experience ever. I love the Pet Shop Boys but after that concert I couldn't listen to them for years without feeling bitter.

How come? It was a low point of their career, I guess…

How come? It was a low point of their career, I guess…
Was Nightlife a low point? I was fond of New York City Boy and I Don't Know What You Want.
Unfortunately I don't think I would be able to put into words what about the concert turned me off. I was a bit put off that the doors opened at 8 and also the concert began at 8 insuring I missed the first half of the concert. The week before under a similiar situation I waited 5 hours for a concert to begin after showing up at the doors opening at the same venue but this was no fault of the Pet Shop Boys and shouldn't be enough to turn me off of them for years.
I have asked my date for that concert what it was that was so bad about it but he doesn't have a good answer either. Although I have allowed it to slide and enjoy the Boys again he hasn't and still won't listen to them willingly.
