Weird seeding problems…
-
First - I have read the rationator page - it didn't give me any hint about my problem.
Rationator info:Uploaded Downloaded Ratio Current minimum Ratio Download Buffer
803.07 GB 471.42 GB 1.704 0.600 Your Download Buffer is about 867.02 GBRight now I have 10 active torrents - they are all seeding, not downloading.
But all of them are not complete downloads - I just downloaded the files I wanted. Not, from time to time, some torrents get blocked from uploading.
Then I get the message: "Too many torrents.. your current limit is 15 at the same time" in the tracker tab.
I guess its obvious that there must be something wrong…. maybe someone can tell me, what the problem is....
PS: After a certain time they get unblocked and all is back seeding on normal.

The tracker will count your torrents with not all files downloaded as downloading peer, because only peers who got all files can be count as seeder. So far all is normal and OK (that is what all trackers I know do, it is inherent to the bit torrent protocol).
With 10 such torrents seeding, you shouldn't get that failure message, but I know from times when I've used a proxy service using multiple exit IPs, that strangely it counts torrents per IP and not only per passkey. it seems you seed from different IPs (either your IP changes periodically or you use a proxy) and that could explain your issue.

The message "Too many torrents.." does as well appear, if you shutdown your client, without stopping your up- and downloads and start another instance right away. As well, this happens, when you have an internet-provider where your internet-connections gets a new IP every 24 hours. The tracker didn't get the stop-notice and so it will still count the torrents as active upon the next auto-update intervall ( which normally is every 30 minutes ) from the tracker.

'…because only peers who got all files can be count as seeder...'
So does seeding unfinished torrents doesn't count into the amount of uploaded data?
The be clear: Rationator says I have uploaded 803.07GB. If I now seed for 10GB, but from an unfinished torrent, my uploads will still be 803.07 instead of 813.07?
Or is it just for determining whether a torrents status will be labeled as 'active' or 'seeding' for the tracker?

It is just determining if the tracker counts the torrent as downloading peer (leecher) or seeder. Uploaded amount of data will be count as reported (announced) by your torrent client to the tracker towards the total upload amount. In your example 813.07 GB.
Actually often already when the torrent client still downloads parts of the files of a torrent, it already uploads the parts it already got. and these are reported as uploaded by the torrent client and counted accordingly.
