Brent Corrigan used fake some pretty good fake IDs to do porn before he was old enough.
The fake IDs were so good, that no one from Cobra got in trouble over it.

i wouldve started a topic of my own but this is close enough, how the hell do you know how old the guys in porn are sometimes??? i download things that are categorized as bareback and someitmes while watching it ill be like "i KNOW that guy aint 18" where do i become liable for owning illegitimate porn if the intro says "all actors are 18 and over"??? most times i just skip the scene or stop watching the flick alltogether becuz honestly twinks are just a major turn off. any insight guys??

You can't tell how old a guy is by looking at him. I've taught in middle schools, high (prep) schools, and universities. I remember two 13-year-old guys who looked old enough that they had no trouble buying alcohol in the states (where the drinking age is 21). I've also met juniors/seniors in university (likely 20 or 21) who looked five years younger.
Bear in mind also that mainstream media (i.e., Hollywood movies and TV) usually casts five or more years over the age of the character–characters who are supposed to be 18 are played by guys 23 or older; university students who are supposed to be 21 are usually played by actors 26-28 years old. So a "real" 18 year old will often appear to be a lot younger than he is.
Some studios (e.g., Cobra) claim that they have "accidentally" filmed underage models; others (e.g., GayTeensStudio, now defunct) did so repeatedly and were shut down. So there is indeed some material out there that will claim to be legal, but in fact has underage models. My suggestion is that if you have a film or scene with a model that you think is underage, just delete it. If you think it's a really flagrant situation, report it to a moderator, but don't post the name of the torrent in the forum...or you'll get people who actually like that sort of thing to download it, and the problem just gets worse.

based on what you said it makes it even harder to know whats safe and whats not. ideally it would be great for everyone to not be a pervert and stick with men that are at least legal. since the world is far from the ideal one way to deal with it on here would be to maybe give torrents more than one category to be placed in.
in my case when i do a search for bareback, there should be a subcategory i.e. twinks latin etc. because to be honest one category really isnt enough. for example…"hunks"??? shouldnt every porn contain "hunks"? who watches porn to find men they consider unnatractive?
having a subacategory would likely cut down immensely on downloading of porn that isnt what was intended. personally i just prefer older guys, salt and pepper hair and nice builds, skinny little girls have never done it for me. just a preference i suppose

Underage performers are very rare. The main reason is, when they are found to be underage, all their movies become blacklisted and can no longer be sold or even given away.
The performers who are underage, tend to look older than they are, which is how they got away with performing underage in the first place.
Far more common are performers who are of legal age who LOOK underage.
It is ironic that the true underage performers don't look underage!
Pedophiles are interested primarily in performers who are underage. It is a fetish that I don't understand. I don't understand a lot of fetishes such as scat, abuse, feet, etc. I can't recall seeing any performer under the age of 16 which interested me. I look for performers in good shape, attractive, energetic, enthusiastic, know what they are doing, enjoying themselves, etc. Very few performers meet that criteria until they are in their 20's.
