Forum rules condensed

This is not the complete rules for this site or forum, but it's a condensed version of the sticky threads here in the General forum section. This is being done because we are getting too many sticky threads.
I will make a separate post in this thread for each topic, so things don't get jumbled up.
If you would like to discuss any of these topics, please make a new forum thread for it. Unless there is one already.
Please check this thread regularly as edits may/will be added.

In order to keep the forums nice and tidy, threads posted in the wrong sections will be moved to their proper section.
So If you see a thread missing, then please check the other sections. No proper threads will be deleted, just moved.
If your thread has been moved to another section, then that is where it belongs.
DO NOT make another thread in the wrong section to replace it.
Duplicate/replacement threads will be deleted and the poster may be issued a warning.

We do not allow you to trade invites to other torrent sites, nor ask for them.
This restriction also applies to pay sites.

Nation bashing is prohibited.
While certain nations may do things you do not like, you are not allowed to bash the whole nation. If you would like to discuss a topic, feel free, but make sure you do not tread into bashing the whole nation.
Civil, polite discussions are allowed.
EDIT: This applies to religion, race, creed, etc, etc, etc as well.

No asking for key gens, serial numbers, cracks, removal of copy protection or DRM etc, etc in the forum.

Derailing conversations, to complain about topics or individual posters, is not allowed.
If your post adds no value to the overall conversation, it will be treated like spam.

GT.ru is not a "safe space" in that we do not ban topics that some might find offensive or "triggering".
The only topics that are banned are those that are illegal in most countries.
If someone wants to post an Armenian genocide denial (hypothetical), then prove them wrong with facts. Do not ask for that person to be banned or the topic to be deleted.
We are not your favorite social media. We believe in free speech.
NOTE: Free speech does not alter our site rules about name calling, derailing, and civil/polite discussions.

Netiquette says that if you make a thread that asks a question, then you must give your answer to that question.
The only time this does not apply is for research (must clearly be stated as such) where the OP doesn't want his/her answer to affect other people's answers.
