LOL - not to discuss wording right now: at least it is an advancement, that some states in Germany allow "registerd partnerships". That is not true for whole Germany but only for some (few) states (usually with a SPD and green majority in the state's government. We had a representative Gallup poll directly after the "marriage" of Westerwelle, where more than 60% voted against "same sex marriage" in general. The more you come to the south in Germany the worse the results got:( (No surprise though
)Luckily our constitutional court starts now(!) to tell our politicians they have to change some laws because the difference between registered partnerships and marriage is incompatible with our constitution. I guess I won't be alive any longer when (if ever) this goal is reached
