VPN Disappeared
-
I recently subscribed to a VPN service called " Your Private VPN" Today when I tried to connect with the server I found that the connection was not possible, after checking all my log on details I realised that something was wrong with the access. I then tried to go to all their web pages, but all were down and would not open with the "No page found" I am left to assume they have gone and done a runner with the remaining period of my, and others I suspect, subscription fees.
Can anybody shed any light on what happened to them or has anybody else got caught?

Sadly, joego, you were probably ripped of for subscription costs by another Dot Com going under.
The URL WAS hXXp://YOURPRIVATEVPN.COM – which was ONLY registered as a domain from 31-JUL-2009 through 31-JUL-2010 (a one-year registration is very odd for a company)
The DNS WAS provided by hXXp:MEDIAON-ASIA.COM -- which was registered from 31-JUL-2009 through 31-JUL-2010 by that same company (ALANTRON BLTD.)Background at:
hXXp://www.networksolutions.com/whois-search/yourprivatevpn.com (website in reference)
hXXp://www.networksolutions.com/whois-search/mediaon-asia.com (DNS in reference)
The Way Back Machine NEVER spidered the historic archives of this site (hXXp://web.archive.org/web/*/www.yourprivatevpn.com)
The Google cache from 21-MAR-2010 is found at hXXp://74.125.93.132/search?q=cache:EI9O4_sKTzEJ:www.yourprivatevpn.com/+%22Your+Private+VPN%22&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us&client=firefox-a
Somehow this is indirectly related to a foreign language site of hXXp://www.alantron.com/
The website was updated on the following dates before it apparently went under:
