          That sucks, sometimes if you just need files from the hard drive, you can try one of those "SATA/IDE Cable" that allows you to browse old hard drives as if they are USB drives, bought one for 30 bucks and it was great.

            Thanks thats exactly what I did, I got a caddy and cable, and managed to get the drive spinning so currently transfering the files over to new HD 🙂
