Are Fetishes/Perversions as Rare as They Seem To Be?

I notice that when I read through categorized lists of porn movies the category "Fetishes/Perversions" contain the same (repetitive) subject matter ie: water5sports, scat, feet,etc. I would think that the very nature of the category would invite a nearly endless variety. I'm always looking for my particular fetish, which is not really exotic, to no avail. My best guess as to the reason for this is that persons with fetishes are wary about revealing them. What do you think?

Well, there is a difference between fetish and perversion for example. Fetish is a sexual attraction to something that in itself is not inherently sexual. So for example some people find leather arousing, leather in itself is not a sexual stimulus, the same way a penis is. I for example have a fetish for thick rimmed black glasses. There is no sound explanation for it, by themselves they are not sexualised, but put them on a handsome young man of honestly any sort and the chances of me wanting to have sex with him have increased by 50%!
As for perversion, i believe the definition of perversion is to take pleasure in something that is inherently "wrong". Now being gay and a part of a sub culture of sexual activity that strays from your mainstream this places us squarely on the opposite side of the white picket fense and hence "wrong", well "wrong" by a Jeudo-Christian model. For example, Harry and Jeraldine, your 2.3 children and a dog small home owner might think things like rimming, threesomes, anal, bdsm all to be "perversions". By our standards its quite run of the mill and not "wrong" at all. [Mind you i'm working off sterotypes of Harry and Jeraldine, in all honest i expect that they are swingers who like to flog each other after mass on sunday as she puts rides her husband with a strap on. ie. It's only good cause its wrong. ;)]
So i guess when it comes to the gay community our definitions of fetish/perversion are a little more extreme than most partially because we deviate from the norm already, and therefore it might be out there but nobody might have though previously to categorize it as such. So the question, what exotic fantasies don't you see labeled?

I agree. Fetishes, almost by definition, are not logical (or even often explicable). There probably are endless varieties out there. But people are reluctant to admit to their own peculiar fetishes, out of fear of appearing too extreme. You're risking rejection from a bunch of rejects (i.e., we gays), and that's a hard thing with which to deal.

It could be possible that people who enjoy specific fetish find their satisfaction else ware, and don't come here looking for it since this community is more general population oriented. fresnopup said that there are endless possibilities and perhaps content is not that easy to find or is not that common because studios don't expect to make much money targeting groups with such specific interests.

Fetishes are rare in comparison to "vanilla" fuck n' suck porn, but are very much alive. And of course, as mentioned previously, definition makes a big difference as to quantity. I state quite openly on my profile, I have a piss fetish. This not so much a watersports fetish as simply the enjoyment of watching men urinate. This is enhanced by their ignorance of my peeping, but equally enhanced by the occasional show off, who is well aware of my stare, and either doesn't mind, finds my interest a novelty, or is a bit of an exhibitionist.
I haven't uploaded much, but not for lack of trying. I'm still trying to figure this out. A movie I uploaded last night, "Slave from Berlin," (pretty mild), was rejected, but I'm not sure exactly why. Transmission stated that it was seeding, yet I received a message from staff that it was not. Luckily they seem to be a patient group.
I really like this site, the titles available and the like minded men posting here. The last thing I want is to get banned. So, I'll keep trying. Download what I have, so that I can upload more. One at a time is the rule, right?

One new a time is the rule.
This means it is allowed to upload and seed only 1 new torrent. New are torrents you have uploaded and have not yet got more than 3 or 4 other seeder (uploader). New torrents are that demanded to take all your internet access upload rate, so there is no point in seeding others. This rule is made to get it out as fast as possible.Depending on the upload rate your torrent client is reporting while seeding, you get allowed a number of total torrents seeding and/or leeching (downloading), while uploading a new. This is shown in in the members's Profile. It includes the the new torrent, e.g. 2 means the new plus another.
While you are not uploading a new, there is no limit in the number of torrents uploading. Nevertheless it makes no sense to split the upload rate over too many actively seeding torrents. When you have indicated in the setup of your torrent client programme your internet access correctly (or do a built-in speedtest) it adjusts it to a meaning full value.
The number of downloading torrents members are allowed depends on their statistics, you can find it in the Rules.

Personally I do not think fetishes are rare but the willingness to talk about them is what is rare.These forums are an excellent place to discuss these fetish/perversion issues and yet folks are still reluctant to do so.For me anything that does not involve underage men is fair game.But then I am an EXPLORER by nature.The stories I could tell are endless
When we open up about what is labeled a fetish/perversion we increase the chances of finding a like minded individual or converting same to our way of thinking.The "things" I have tried from finding out what makes a man a tick are also endless and have been an incredible addition to my sexual adventures. But then I am a believer in "try it you might like it" attitude about sex.
