Folx restarts downloading files it has already downloaded
-
Folx seems pretty good on the Mac M1 but I notice something disconcerting if it is restarted for some reason, like if the computer has shut down. When it is reloaded it starts checking all the files it has downloaded - it may be dozens - and I see they are actually being downloaded again and appear in Leeching on gaytorrent. Does this affect my ratio? I think it does and that is why I am struggling to maintain my ratio. Can anyone help please?

In relation :
There are known clients - Issues with Total Download Size Doubling ...
according to other sites ...
If you've noticed your download stats doubling on a torrent, the issue is with your torrent client. Libtorrent 1.2.x announces from all available endpoints. Clients like qBittorent, Deluge and many others are affected by this. You need to set up your client to a specific IPv4 or IPv6 only, otherwise, your client reports from all your IP addresses, and the tracker receives and writes double or more times the data.
You need to set your client to listen only on one IP address.

This happens when your PC unexpectedly shutdown or shutting down due to auto-updates,
these will affect your client exited improperly ...
And it will re-check all files that is incomplete download and continue resuming when re-started ...
So be aware on corrupted data's while resuming ...
It will totally trigger the process ...
