New Uploading Rule Suggestion: No Clickbait Titles or Descriptions
-
I've noticed there has been some really clickbait titles and descriptions lately. Instead of letting videos stand on their own or upload something of quality, they use keywords that stir the pot and hope people will download the torrent because of the words they used.
This one titled ONLY REAL Life-Ruining Fucks - Kinky Leaked Amateur Sex Tapes (Dads, Uncles, Brothers, Neighbor Boys) is just a generic collection of low quality amateur videos that have no background info. everything said in the title and description is made up.
Another upload that is just clickbate is called Republican Son Fucks Dad outside of a photo that could easily made in photoshop, their is nothing backing the title, even if its true, the uploader knows using a political party in the title will get clicks and downloads.
I'm sure the GTRU community can do better then resorting to clickbait.

Clickbait isn't allowed.
When known, the actual name is supposed to be used.
When unknown, they are supposed to use an accurate description for the name.
Similar applies to categories.

@MrMazda I reported them
-
@rtim I am ashamed to say I fell for the clickbait in both of the examples you listed! You are correct, both of those videos were awful.
-
@rtim even making a topic, naming good examples, reporting them and having two admins in the room the titles stay the same, that's how not allowed it is.
-
Staff have areas of work and for the most part we try not to overstep. It's why we say to use the report button.

Interesting.
Because I've commented on clickbait-y false torrent titles before.... like, old commercially staged "voyeur" vids repackaged as "This scandal just happened at my university!"..... only to have the uploader tell me I'm a killjoy who doesn't understand fantasy.
I'd have a good comeback. ("Wow, I guess u cum from lying, or being lied to. Huh.")
But I didn't know, until now, that I should just have Reported.

@rtim Does anyone know why there is an uploader using the actual word in their titles for their posts? I'm curious about this because the posts aren't actually clickbait. Like - "Clickbait - Czech Hunter - 721" or "Clickbait - Gabo Comic 43 - Wrestling Championship" or "Clickbait - OF model's name here jerking off". Why is it called clickbait when they aren't?
-
@duncanlem yah im confused too

Users should be banned from doing this ...
They are abusing it ...
